It is with much regret that my wife and I announce that we will no longer be operating isurfeurekasprings.com after the first week of July.

In the past year we have sincerely enjoyed meeting the many residents, artists and business people of Eureka Springs. We also received much joy assisting in the adoption of many dogs and cats at Good Shepherd.

We hope we were able to provide beneficial exposure at no charge to those businesses and artists we profiled. The many events we covered provided a different view than provided by the local print media and typically brought to you within hours of the events. We hope you enjoyed the many photographs of yourselves and the events as much as we enjoyed taking them.

This unique coverage via the internet of this wonderful community, its people, events, and unique offerings, included gaining a number 1 ranking for a time among the various internet portals that focus on Eureka.

The fact is that running a community website does involve costs. Those costs, including hosting fees from isurfamerica, were increasing and we would see significant increases in the cost of maintaining the web site in the second year. Unfortunately, we were never able to gain the support of local businesses to cover any of these costs.

We wish our many acquaintances and friends well and will see many of you in the future.
